BLAST FROM THE PAST

The cave was an experimental project that evolved during installation as a symbolic setting for our loss of memory and the challenges to face and overcome for mankind. Stalagmites and stalactites were the backdrop for a video- and still projection and a sound loop was elaborated on site. The stalagmites and stalactites had a conversation on memory loss, freely based and distorted from ”Spellbound” by Hitchcock. It was also a meeting-place for two creatures/deities examining the cave with flashlights.
